Why ten minutes?
Research consistently shows that a focused 10-minute workout delivers most of the cardiovascular and metabolic benefits of a 30-minute session. The barrier to fitness isn't biology โ it's time and motivation.
Tenvo exists because the hardest part of any workout is starting. When you know it's only ten minutes, that excuse disappears.
How we pick videos
Every video is hand-picked with input from a movement specialist. We don't use algorithms or accept submissions โ just careful, informed curation.
- Real credentials. Instructors are certified professionals with a demonstrable track record of quality, evidence-based coaching.
- Grounded in movement science. Selections are reviewed by a specialist in exercise science to ensure well-rounded programming.
- No equipment needed. Every workout is designed to be done anywhere โ a hotel room, living room, or office break room.
- Genuinely under 10 minutes. We time every video. No warm-up padding that turns into a 25-minute class.
- Clear instruction. Good form cues, no fluff, appropriate for beginners without boring experienced movers.
The science behind short workouts
A growing body of research supports the effectiveness of short, high-quality exercise sessions. Studies on HIIT and moderate-intensity movement show meaningful improvements in cardiovascular health, metabolic function, and mental clarity from sessions as short as 7โ10 minutes โ particularly when done consistently.
The "Couch to 5K" model proved that small, consistent efforts compound into real fitness gains. Tenvo is built on the same principle โ not a single heroic workout, but a sustainable daily habit backed by research.
